Hop House has combined the delicious aromas and flavors of Belgian-style pale ale with more hops than we’ve ever put in a beer. A well-balanced, yet ample hop character defines this fine pale ale offering citrus and tropical fruit aromatics and flavors, a full body and a lush white pillowy head.

Ommegang and HBO® announce the newest beer in the Game of Thrones® collaboration series. Through its first four seasons, the critically acclaimed drama has become the biggest show on HBO.
In the world of Westeros, Valar Morghulis means “all men must die.” Fans of the hit HBO show chose the foreboding phrase as the name of the newest beer in the Game of Thrones® collaboration between HBO and Brewery Ommegang. As part of a Facebook poll, fan voting determined the style and name of the next beer. An Abbey Dubbel was selected and it is perfectly represented by the “two- headed” coin given to Arya Stark by Jaqen H’ghar, one of the “Faceless Men of Braavos” – legendary assassins with the ability to change their appearances at will.
95% Ale- 2% Ale with cherries added.
The Belgian motto is “Strength in union.” No phrase better describes Three Philosophers, which unites malty Belgian-Style are with imported kriek, authentic Belgian cherry ale, dark, mysterious cherry-chestnut color. Pair with strong cheeses, deserts, or sip as an after dinner ale.
When simply pairing this it is important to keep in mind that you need a dish that is going to stand up to the big alcohol, rich malt, and subtle cherry. Think hearty; stews, fatty meats, gooey, stinky cheese, and you cannot go wrong. Try this beer as a marinade or in a sauce. In a marinade, the alcohol naturally breaks down the proteins in the meat, tenderizing it, while the flavor of the beer is absorbed. For a sauce, simply reduce over low flame with some additional sour cherries, wait till half is reduced, season with salt, pepper and sugar plus a touch of cream and you are ready to go.
